Atilla Eren completed his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at IDMMA (now Yıldız Technical University) and his postgraduate studies in Electrical Power Engineering at the Institute of Science in Istanbul Technical University.
He began his professional career at Arçelik A.Ş., where he worked for ten years. He later continued his career as a co-founder of DEKA Elektroteknik A.Ş. Founded in 1993, DEKA grew into a leading plug and cable manufacturer in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region, with a total of three manufacturing facilities in Turkey and Romania and a workforce of over 400 employees. An agreement was signed on November 12, 2020, for the acquisition of DEKA by UK-based Volex PLC.
Throughout his career, he has served as a Board Member and Assembly Member in various unions, chambers, and associations, including TİM, TOBB, and BEYSAD. He also held the position of Chairman of the Executive Committee of the TET Project Pazarı under TİM – the Turkish Electrical, Electronics and Services Exporters’ Association.
